Electrolytic Zinc Plating or Electro Galvanizing
This galvanizing process is carried out cold. The steel materials are coated with a thin layer of zinc, electrolytically. This layer is usually 8 to 12 microns, and can reach thicknesses of 30 microns. The difference with hot dip galvanizing is in the thicknesses and in the disadvantage that the piece can be deformed by the temperature. The thickness of the layer is proportional to the duration in time of the materials, without the appearance of red corrosion. After electrolytic galvanizing, we apply a final finish, this process is known as passivation. Passivates vary according to color and corrosion resistance. We can electrolytically galvanize up to 6 x 2 x 0.50″ structures.

ELECTROLYTIC ZINC PLATING WITH WHITE PASSIVATION
We apply a passivation with chrome III, with a medium electrolytic galvanizing of 10 microns we achieve 172 hours of red corrosion resistance.
For indoor applications, unheated buildings where condensation may occur, e.g. warehouses and sports centers. Outdoors, atmospheres with low pollution levels, mostly rural areas.
CORROSIVITY CATEGORY C1 AND C2
ELECTROLYTIC ZINC PLATING WITH YELLOW PASSIVATION
We apply a high resistance passivation with chrome III, with a medium electrolytic galvanizing of 10 microns we obtain 300 hours of resistance to red corrosion.
For indoor applications, manufacturing plants with high humidity. Outdoors, urban and industrial atmospheres with moderate pollution.

ELECTROLYTIC ZINC PLATING WITH PASSIVATED BRIDGED ZINC PLATING
We apply a high resistance passivation, with a medium electrolytic galvanizing of 10 microns we achieve 400 hours of resistance to red corrosion.
For indoor applications, manufacturing plants with high humidity. Outdoor, urban and industrial atmospheres with moderate pollution.
